There are a variety of reasons why we are able to provide our patients with affordable hearing aids; Through strategic planning we are able to keep our operating costs low. We have also created a functional buying/selling hearing aid model for our practice, with a primary focus on our patients. Finally, we listened to hearing loss patients' concerns regarding the high cost of hearing aids and we are here to help.
Unfortunately, no. Hearing aids are designed to help people hear better not to prevent further loss of hearing. The good news is that hearing loss normally progresses slowly and over a long period of time, while modern day hearing aids are made to accommodate a substantial range of hearing losses.
Patients receive 45 days from the date of purchase to return their hearing aid(s) in the same condition, ordinary wear and tear excluded in order to receive a full refund. We do not charge a return fee, and so patients who purchase hearing aids at GN Audiology essentially receive a free 45 day trial period.
The average lifespan of hearing aids is 5 to 7 years.
